Innovation Hall marks first year as hub for connection and collaboration

By Chamber Staff

Innovation Hall marked its first birthday this month, celebrating a year of activity, collaboration and community in the heart of the Innovation District.

Since its doors opened Jan. 6, 2025, Innovation Hall has stayed busy nearly every day. The space has brought together families, fans watching Thunder playoff games and participants in events ranging from major symposiums to small group discussions, along with speaker programs, cohorts and lab tours. It has been a place where business owners pitch concepts, researchers share knowledge, students discover new fields and residents come together simply to connect.

In its first year, Innovation Hall has grown into a space where people from many backgrounds connect, create and move ideas forward.

That momentum is driven by the people who use it. The building’s success reflects the support of the northeast Oklahoma City community, the greater Oklahoma City area, its partners and its board. Innovation Hall works because people continue to show up, share the space and build alongside one another.

As it begins its second year, Innovation Hall is adding another reason for people to gather with the upcoming opening of Elemental Coffee inside the building. Soft openings are planned for early January, with a grand opening set for Jan. 19, 2026.

Founded in 2008 as Oklahoma’s first third-wave micro-roaster, Elemental Coffee has helped shape Oklahoma City’s coffee culture for more than a decade. Known for its small-batch roasting and community-centered cafes, Elemental offers carefully sourced coffees, espresso drinks and a menu built around fresh, locally sourced ingredients.

The Innovation Hall location will bring those offerings to researchers, entrepreneurs, students, event attendees and neighbors exploring the Innovation District, creating another welcoming place to meet, work and connect.

Looking ahead, Innovation Hall remains focused on building partnerships, encouraging collaboration and creating spaces where people feel comfortable gathering.

Visitors are invited to stop by the lobby, spend time in the space or book conference and event rooms as Innovation Hall enters its second year and continues its mission to bring people together.
